Comments and Requests

Comments adalah kalimat yang memerintahkan seseorang untuk melakukan sesuatu. Ini diakhiri dengan titik (.) Atau tanda seru (!)1. Kedua Imperatif Pribadia. Kalimat Verbal(+) V1 + O(-) Jangan + V1 + Ob. Kalimat Nominal(+) Jadilah + Nonverb(-) Jangan Jadi + Nonverb2. Orang Imperatif Pertama(+) Biarkan Kami + V1 + O(-) Biarkan Kami + Tidak + V1 + O

contoh :

1. you must learn > sentence orders (must learn)
2. Dad had to work > command line (it should work) 
3. kick the ball hard> command line? (the ball away) 
4. punch the doll's face> command line (punch puppet) 
5. hug me now> command line (hug me)

Request  is a sentence that asks someone to do something. It ends with a period (.) or a question mark (?).

1.        Request with “I” as the subject.

Example: May/Could/Can + I + borrow your pen?

2.        Request with “You” as the subject.

Example: Would/Will/Could/Can + You + lend me your novel?

 contoh : 

1. when I would ask the lecturer ( if I could ask) 

2. when they want to enter the classroom (may I go)

3. when they want to borrow books ( Can I borrow books)

4.when they want to pay in shops(

Can I ask for bill)
